If I recall, they did used to be the corresponding months. It was just when Roman leaders Julius Caesar and Augustus came into power, the months July(Julius) and August(Augustus) were added, thus throwing off the numbering of the calender.

the beginning of autumn makes me want to just hole up in coffee shops with books on books on books every minute i have to spare. i’m okay with it.
Enrollment for 2018 Affordable Care Act (Obamacare) starts on November 1 and ends on December 15. The current administration has cut the funds to announce when people can enroll. Please reblog and #Resist
they have also scheduled some 12-hour “maintenance sessions” to occur on sundays during the enrollment period so be aware of those as well.
Also there’s one scheduled for the first night so be aware of that.
They’re basically doing everything in their power to make it as difficult as possible so young and healthy people don’t bother signing up in an effort to kill the program that way. Please don’t let that happen spread this around and sign up.

I’ve thankfully managed to pay most of my bills for this month (gas/electricity/rent etc..) but, despite having over an overwhelming 16.1K notes on this post, I’m still struggling to make ends meet and I still desperately need help to get some groceries in for December/January or I won’t be able to eat this Christmas or in the New Year.
The only good news is, that I did have an appointment on (December 18th) with the Centre for Health and Disability Assessments, for my mental health and for a WCA. Once my reassessment is complete, my benefit will be fully reinstated, but this can take a further 3 - 4 weeks to be processed meaning I won’t receive my benefit until late January (roughly the 25th).
And I know that everyone is struggling with the holidays coming up but, if anyone is able to spare anything to help me get some groceries, even if it’s just £1/$1, please try. Thank you 🙏❤
